Half Moon Bay, CA – July 29, 2010 – As the summer mountain biking season peddles into full speed, the best in slopestyle and downhill find themselves at the premier events; Claymore Challenge, Crankworx Colorado and the Kokanee Crankworx Whistler. And as maker of the world’s bestselling and highest performance wearable HD video cameras, GoPro joins this elite group as the official wearable camera and sponsor.

The Claymore Challenge, which was held on July 17th at Highland Mountain Bike Park in Northfield, New Hampshire was witness to the massive air antics of some of the best riders in the world and GoPro riders showed up big! Finishing first was Brandon Semenuk – and placing second was Cam McCaul with Aaron Chase sealing a sixth place finish amongst a talented pack of twenty-two.

Up next is Crankworx Colorado held in Winter Park from July 29 – August 1 and The Kokanee Crankworx at Whistler, BC from August 7 -15. GoPro was selected as the official wearable camera for these events with footage from GoPro HD HEROs being used during the broadcasts, which can be watched at Crankworx.com.
