GoPro Congratulates Athletes Shaun White, Tom Wallisch and More in 2012 Winter X Games Highlight Video

GoPro Athlete Celebration Video with Exclusive Perspectives from White’s Historic “100 Point Run”

GoPro’s Snow Team takes home three gold and one bronze medal – Shaun White receives first-ever perfect score in Winter X Games Snowboard SuperPipe history in first ride as GoPro athlete.

HALF MOON BAY, CA (February 1, 2012) – GoPro, maker of the world’s most versatile cameras and producer of some of today’s most engaging sports programming, sends out a huge congratulations to its Snow Team athletes competing in the 2012 Winter X Games at Aspen. Shaun White, on his first run as a GoPro athlete, won his 5th consecutive Winter X Games gold while landing the first-ever perfect score in Snowboard SuperPipe history.  Together, GoPro athletes won four medals at the Winter X Games. Other gold medals were won by Tom Wallisch in Skiing Slopestyle and Jamie Anderson in Snowboard Slopestyle. Hannah Teter won bronze in women’s Snowboard SuperPipe.

Other GoPro Snow Team athletes competing at the 2012 Winter X Games included Eric Willett who secured a fourth place in Snowboard Big Air and seventh in Snowboard Slopestyle while Tucker Perkins finished fifth in Skiing SuperPipe and Meg Olenick locked in a eighth for Skiing Slopestyle. GoPro congratulates them all on going big and sends a hearty thank you for representing GoPro on such an impressive stage as the 2012 Winter X Games Aspen.
